Is the /Hwk2/parsley script correctly working on line splices? It seems that it it not correctly react to them.

For example
"<<a b"
If I write:
"> b \"
"> a "

It still outputs: 
"HERE:  b \<newline>."

But I thought that the "\" with the b would cause a not to be in its own line.
