The D-deferred approach push finalK onto Kstack if C is an unknown code meaning we're in kwkwk problem. But finalK isn't assigned its value until later, when we find out what the first char in the string is. So is finalK just a special symbol, such that when we are popping K off kStack, in the end we see this special symbol and give it the actual value?
