neglected to include that it is treated as any other command (simple, bg, pipeline, etc.). It could also even be backgrounded - see: a & b & c & d. Highly suggest using DUMP_TREE=1 /c/cs323/Hwk5/bashLT to see how it works on the staff solution as that helped me a lot.
