Hello all,

I spent last night scanning your exams with my phone while watching the new Netflix sensation Love is Blind, and I'm glad to say that your exams are now available for download on the Zoo. To retrieve a PDF with your midterm, run the command

  % /c/cs223/bin/retrieve 9midterm midterm.pdf

You may have some questions about the exam and your grade. Here are some questions I'm anticipating:

- My exam wasn't properly scanned. Could you send me a new scan?
- I don't understand your comment. Could you explain what you meant by that?
- I think you may have misunderstood what I've written down. Could you take a look?
- The numbers aren't adding up. What's up with that?
- Can Love truly be Blind?

These are all perfectly valid questions, and I'd be happy to answer them all. But before you ask, I urge you to first read the following Google Doc listing the common mistakes I spotted while grading your exams:

If that didn't answer your question, then please send me an email at c.lim@yale.edu with the title "CPSC 223 Midterm - {your netid}". Of course, replace {your netid} with your actual netid. In the body of the email, please be clear about which exam question you are discussing and what your concern is. If I don't respond in a timely manner (within 3 days), don't hesitate to follow up with me.

Very truly yours,
Chris
