Subject: Deadline questions

Hi,

I don't want to "out" myself by sending an email to Dr. Eisenstat, but I am currently really struggling with my mental health given everything that is going on in the world. 

I'm very much unable to do work for literally any class at this moment or do pretty much anything. Are the deadlines fixed deadlines for these problem sets? Is it possible for them to become more flexible without penalty?

I'm aware via this newsgroup that many students are able to (or pretending) to go on with their work, but many are not.
