1. As you may have noticed, Homework #2 parsley is worth
   50 points rather than 60 as stated in the syllabus.
   To compensate Homework #3 TBA will be worth 40 points
   instead of 30.

2. To give you some flexibility I will waive up to a
   total of SIX days of lateness on the five assignments
   (e.g., 2+1+1+1+1, or 3+0+0+2+1, or ...).  To claim
   days of lateness you must submit along with the final
   version of your code a ONE-line file named LATENESS
   that contains a SINGLE decimal digit that specifies
   the number of late days that you are claiming.  Do
   NOT submit such a file unless you are requesting a
   waiver.

   Aside:  These waivers may not be used to extend a
   deadline beyond the end of finals, unless you have a
   TI (Temporary Incomplete).

3. If you have suggestions for improving the lectures,
   you can either send me mail or post to the newsgroup.
