If ./encode refers to your solution, then you should be
able to answer your question.

If it refers to Hwk4/encode, then as I posted yesterday:

  To avoid encouraging furher attempts to reverse engineer
  how Hwk4/encode and Hwk4/decode are designed, I will no
  longer answer postings of this kind.
