In previous years a number of students were found to have submitted work downloaded from GitHub. The code in question was written by former students solving similar assignments. In one case only the line containing the name of the author was changed; in others, comments were removed or rewritten, functions and variables renamed, and declarations and statements reformatted, all in an apparent attempt to conceal the copying. To avoid similar situations in the future, I ask that not upload to GitHub (or any other public venue) your solutions to the CPSC 223 assignments. Or if you do (e.g., to show your code to a recruiter), that you use a private repository and restrict access to those with a need to see it. Thanks for your cooperation. Have a great (and safe) summer. Best regards, --Stan-PREV INDEX NEXT
